A Technical Interoperability Specification is an architectural building block of the EIRA views Technical view - application and Technical view - infrastructure supporting the Technical interoperability layer of the European Interoperability Framework.


A Technical Interoperability Specification is a specialisation of Interoperability Specification defining the necessary attributes that shall be fully met to support technical interoperability. It lays down the characteristics required of a product such as levels of quality, performance, safety or dimensions, including the requirements applicable to the product as regards the name under which the product is sold, terminology, symbols, testing and test methods, packaging, marking or labelling and conformity assessment procedures.
